Even the smallest and seemingly insignificant things can have meaning, but the only way to develop a philosophy of your own is through hands-on experience.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\">About Ken \u2013 Mold Engineering, Mechanical Design &amp; Injection Molding Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">I am Ken, the author of this engineering blog. My background covers mold making, mold design, tooling engineering, product mechanical design, injection molding, manufacturing process review, and engineering team management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Before becoming a mechanical engineer, I spent several years in the mold and tooling industry. I started as a mold maker, moved into mold design, and later worked as a mold engineer. At the same time, I also took on the role of Mechanical Engineering Manager. This transition was challenging, but it helped me connect hands-on tooling experience with product mechanical design and engineering team management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">My practical experience includes plastic part design, DFM review, mold design review, MoldFlow analysis, injection molding defect analysis, tolerance stack-up, surface treatment processes, supplier communication, and cross-functional project coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">This blog shares practical engineering knowledge based on real product development and manufacturing experience. I write about engineering materials, product mechanical design, injection mold design, injection molding, manufacturing processes, surface treatment, and engineering software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">This blog is especially useful for mechanical engineers, product designers, mold designers, tooling engineers, injection molding engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, project managers, and beginners who want to understand the connection between design and manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Many engineering problems are repeated across different projects and teams.
